Types of Sentences
Declarative sentences make statements or express opinions. They end with a period.
Interrogative sentences ask questions. They end with a question mark.
Imperative sentences give commands, make requests, or offer advice. They often begin with a verb and can end with a period or exclamation mark.
Exclamatory sentences express strong emotion or surprise. They end with an exclamation mark.
Conditional sentences express actions that are dependent on certain conditions. They often use "if" or "unless".
